DAVID
BELFIELD
I was born 1963 in Mount Barker Western Australia. My mother was
a school teacher and my father a cattle farmer, now both
retired. I was brought up on a farm. During my life I've had
many experiences with all types of work. From when I was 12 I've
always been interested in photography, now with the digital age
being about us, it's much easier to practice and less expensive.

COMPUTER ASSISTANCE
My knowledge in computers began when I was 22 (1985), starting
with a Commodore 64, hardly heard of today, but this was a
popular computer in its day, moving on through the Commodore
Amiga's and practicing with programming and very primitive
spreadsheet programs, later getting involved in the Albany
Computer Club and in 1997 I switched from an Amiga1200 to a
Cyrix 150+ PC. It took me 3 months to learn enough about the IBM
compatible computer, basically the Amiga had been much like
Windows 95 since 1987 when I purchased my first Amiga. I now
assist clients with all their computer needs eg: tutoring,
spyware removal, antivirus and all software and hardware
repairs, usually in their home/office or I bring them home,
doing most of the repairs over night, I will add a small
enhancement to add more colour to their day, such as the Albany
Region Screensaver as a bonus.
I sell new and preloved computers also new or preloved laptops
when available.
DAVID BELFIELD PHOTOGRAPHY
On the weekends I try to have a break and get out amongst
the scenery to take some photos and now videos, gathering a
very large collection of images of this region for future
projects or DVDs I may make.
WEDDING MOVIE MAKING TO DVD
I also offer to film weddings. I found the first time I
really enjoyed doing this work very much, creating DVDs with
feeling and emotion. To have the happy couple smile for
years to come gives me a great buzz.
I have photographed and filmed birthday parties, funerals
and weddings and each time I
 have
been thanked in such a way that makes me proud to be doing
this.
AYSEMART ALBANY REGION DVDS
I created the Albany Region DVDs in my spare time with what
I had collected by then, no funding or profit gained to
date, it was a great experience and I know that this will
not be the end of movie making for me, just the beginning.
Meanwhile I
continue to offer my computer services for everyone who
needs me.
AYSEMART
PROPERTY ONLINE
I also created a system in which people could sell their own
property online using the newspaper to promote their webpage
with information and photos, saving commission charges etc,
but as the world is perhaps not ready for this jump into the
future, it has been removed.
PHOTO AUSTRALIA
I have created a system for displaying photos and stories of
travel from anywhere in the world, no charge to anyone, just
a way to bring visitors to the site, so I could sell a few
DVDs. This may need some tweaking to gain interest,
basically it is ready and definitely shows the system well.
